My favourite Foundations

I have clear skin so I don’t need too much coverage or touch ups, but when I do photoshoots and shoot my daily show on TV I love having a great foundation to give me a fresh silky look. Here is a review on some of my favorite foundations that I wear on the daily:

Giorgio Armani Face Fabric or Maestro

Pro: Silky Airbrushed Coverage for All Skin Types

I love how light this foundation is. And it makes my skin feel so luxe. You know you are wearing the best product wheb you can’t tell if you’re wearing any and this foundation gives my skin a healthy glow after. And the best part is that this foundation works best for any photoshoot. It doesn’t make my face pale or blank, so it’s definitely a must have for red carpet and formal events.
Tip: If you have oily skin, you should apply an oil-absorbing primer before the foundation!

Tom Ford Traceless Perfecting Foundation SPF15

This is a great for daily wear because it also has SPF in it. (And living in sunny Lebanon that’s a huge plus for me. I like using this especially during the summer when I go out for lunches and meetings because it’s a light coverage and gives me a fresh faced look not forgetting the sun protection. It’s also formulated to help improve your skin. Tom Ford make up is a bit pricey but worth every penny.

Go for Geometric Print Pants

It’s officially April and slowly we are heading towards the summer. The days are getting longer and the nights are getting warmer. It’s time to spice up your wardrobe. A great way to do this is by incorporating a pair of geometric print pants.

There are thousands of different  styles of print pants out there from cropped skinnies to wide legs, you can pick a silhouette that works best for your body type. After figuring out which shape works for you, it’s time to choose your pattern. 😍With options from diamonds to stripes to squares, decide on the pattern you want. If you are petite, keep the pattern on a smaller scale to make sure they pattern doesn’t overwhelm you. Keeping the print balanced will be the most suiting.
If you choose a skinnier, tailored pant you can go one of two ways. You can keep the entire outfit fitted with a blazer and a top which would look super modern for work or pair the pants with a more flowing top to contrast the silhouette of the pants. The same idea goes with a more wide pant. If you wear a loose top, a flowing pant gives a more bohemian look for weekend or you can add a crop top and jacket and achieve a more sophisticated look.
Keep in mind that if you are wearing a bold geometric print pant that you let them be the statement piece of the outfit. Make sure the look isn’t overloaded with too many colors or prints, however matching a small print with a large print can look ultra chic if they are kept in the same color palette.

The Perfect Eyeliner

Must-have Eyeliners

Spring is in the air & a flirty makeup is impossible without a cat-eye. Let me roll out my cosmetic bag for you & review my favorite eyeliners as not all eyeliners were born equal. I prefer my liner intense, long lasting, and perfect.

Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen

Pro: easy to use & dries fast

Con: a bit pricey

Pen goes on very smoothly and the liquid is very consistent. Since I use eyeliner every day, this is the most long lasting eyeliner! There’s no smudging (even for oily skin!) and the product usually lasts around 6 months for me. The fine tip application is very easy to use, and you can build up to the line you desire. It’s very highly pigmented so a few strokes is enough to get a very strong line.

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner

Pro: Dries quickly, easy application

Con: Too thick

Gel Liners are always great to achieve that perfect line, and are incredibly easy to correct if you make a mistake. So what more perfect gel is there than Bobbi Brown? It’s almost feels like liquid because the color is so highly pigmented. Thick liners like this one last really long so that’s always a plus. Extra tip: since the liner is so thick, use a thick brush to apply or it’ll take you a long time. Ideally, pick up Bobbi Brown eyeliner brush & don’t use gels if you have oily skin as it can melt the eyeliner and give you raccoon eyes.

L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Liner

Pro: Highly Pigmented

Con: Smudges

This eyeliner is great value for money if you are in a mood for a smokey eye! The product is highly pigmented, works best when paired with black eyeshadow for a very smokey effect. It could smudge a bit, but since I use it with a darker shadow it’s not a huge problem at all, and can give my eyes a romantic effect. For a more precise line, you can use the sharpener attached on the opposite side.

Benefit Push-up Liner

Pro: Dries fast, long lasting

Con: Can get flakey

If you are struggling with gel and liquid liners, this is a great alternative because it’s a gel liner in a marker! it’s super creamy and easy to use, but it can definitely clump and get flakey if you try to re-touch it. The rubber tip is perfect to work on your lash line without touching the lashes.

Recently I got addicted to the fruit infused water as a part of my spring detox routine. I like to start my mornings with a glass of this magical fluid to kill the appetite & boost metabolism. This water is both delicious & healthy & you could easily make it at home. If you are a smoothie addict like me, try adding ice cubes to make it taste like a healthy frozen dessert.

Below are the few recipes you could try at home.

1. Strawberry + Mint + Water

This is basically a virgin strawberry mojito. To make the strawberry ice cubes, simply blended strawberries and froze it in ice cube containers overnight. You could also add some mint leaves for green ice cubes. When served, add a few strawberry & mint to your water. Keep in mind that mint will add a bit of bitterness to your drink, so you don’t want too much greens.
2. Pineapple + Orange + Water
This is by far the most delicious one! Blend pineapples & grated orange peels & then freeze. Along with the icecubes, add in a few orange slices for a sweet taste to your water!

3. Blueberry + Blackberry + Water
Berries are a great source of antioxidants so this is definitely a great way to maximize your health & metabolism by adding this to your water. You can also eat blueberries and blackberries while drinking your water. So just freeze them in the ice containers with the water & enjoy!

4. Lemon + Water

This is the queen of all fruit infused waters & very easy to do.easiest and most effortless to do. Either squeeze lemon juice into your water or just leave a lemon slice with the ice cubes.
Tip: as the ice cubes melt, the taste of your water gets better!

I wore this gorgeous Black and white patchwork dress 👌 that is so Versatile as you could wear it as a coat if you layer it over a knit dress on a chilly day like today⚡️☔️.
👉To make the look more exciting I add gloves with a different pattern but still in the same color palette & when I’m off work 😁I spice up this outfit with my color block Dior bag to add that pop of color while out on the town 😍.

It’s a luxe product for your makeup👌. If you have dry, normal or combination skin, you will love it for all over your face. Ladies whose skin is oily might use it to highlight certain areas only.
