Hello lovelies, I am sorry I have been off for a while, but I was so busy with a new project that I am preparing for…
Today’s blog is about why I love cross-bags. I sort of always wanted to write about this topic and this season is absolutely the right time.

Cross-bags are the perfect accessory for hands free Christmas shopping. You don’t want to go shopping with a big bag that weights 10 kilos. I recently read an article on how women can actually use it’s heavy bag to do some training…but still, please let’s leave those triceps and biceps exercises for the gym. Cross-bags distribute the weight of the bag over all the body instead of centralizing it on one shoulder and causing back pains.

Moreover oversized bags are on my black list for short girls. If you’re short, I highly recommend small cross-bags that fit proportionally with your body.
Investing in a cross-bag is a wise decision. As shown by past trends, cross-bags fashion did not die out and will never do.

Further more, cross-bags are the only bags you can buy in loud colors. Personally Most of my big bags are in pastel hue or black because imagine a big red bag!!! However a tiny cross-bag alongside your chest in red would be flawless. Chanel cross-bags in neon green were a hit this season.

So a cross bag is a must have in your closet. It could be worn casually or if going to a party. Cross bags are faultless if you are on a trip or attending a concert…on my last trip to Rome I couldn’t been more thankful for having a cross bag that fits under my coat on those long cold sightseeing walks….

Let’s Stop Looking For “The One”
When will I meet the one? We hear that question so often. All girls would like to know how and where they can find their soolmate…. WELL STOP!
Did you ever hear the Buddhist proverbial quote “When the student is ready the master will appear”; Ladies we all want to meet the one and sometimes we feel that we are born to find him; but we can’t keep on stressing ourselves with this idea!! Stressing ourselves won’t make things any better, but it is going to keep us anxious all the time.
Ladies!! The one is not someone that you can seek, and it is not someone who will seek you; you will come together by destiny and fate; so instead of searching for “the one”, search for yourselves! It is the only one you need to search for; enjoy your moments and let it go and when the time comes you will be ready don’t worry 😉
And meanwhile Some shopping would help!
My Midi Cloche Skirt
One Of the must haves for this Spring-Summer season is the “cloche skirt”. I made this skirt with a weird fabric mixing between satin and tafta, giving it a distinguished shiny and fluffy aspect. It is a mix between cold and warm colors making it match with all kinds of accessories.
It reflects the color of the top that you are wearing and making it possible to have a whole different outfit just by changing your top. This skirt suits all types of bodies, but make sure to wear a slim fit top to highlight the waist and show the cloche effect, and I advise to stay away from the flats.
It is casual, sexy and elegant, dare to wear it even if you have a very practical life, since it is comfy and it doesn’t need a special occasion

Fairytale modern outfit by Stephanie Saliba
Today’s outfit consists of a contrast between modern and princess-like look: the long skirt adding fairytale sense and the denim shirt that I found in Roma, Italy making it instantly look modern.
The long skirt: that I bought from Mykonos, Greece is fresh, comfortable and flexible.
I chose black not only because it is the safest color but also it adds classiness and balances the whole outfit. And as for me nothing beats black with the denim.
The accessories: I went with a bulky necklace, giving a fresh summerish vibe to the outfit with the vivid colors. Accessories characterize the look. So feel free to express your own character through your accessories whether its sophisticated, funky or simple. To keep the attention on the necklace, I settled with small flower earrings and a simple silver watch even though I am a ring lover.
The shoes: Feel free to wear any comfy shoes with the long skirt but make sure the color matches the denim. So I chose a blue Casadei high heel.
The bag: A big bag won’t fit the fairy tale look so preferred sticking to a casual fuchsia Stella McCartney clutch that I got from Miami to match the necklace. Adding colors is a must to have some contrast with the black skirt.
Notice that the items were brought from different countries so don’t be afraid to experiment in matching clothes, that’s what makes a true fashionista.
And since an outfit can only handle one statement and in this case it was the necklace I had to stick with a bun for a hairstyle leaving the scene for the cosmopolitan outfit to show.

Stephanie Saliba’s 11Must Haves In Your Beach Bag
1. Mirror; it might be the most “borrowed item” between girls so why always borrow it? Bring your own!
2. Deodorant, body and face splash; some forget how sweaty you might get at the pool so don’t forget these essentials to stay fresh all day and it is sexy to have your own fragrance.
3. Hair oil spray; Hair needs protection too! While you are busy making sure you have sun screen on; don’t forget your hair oil to protect your hair from harmful sunlight plus it’s a perfectly free “baind’huile” session.
4. Shaving kit; you never know! Sometimes when you get to the pool you discover that you missed a spot, so keep that kit with you in case of emergencies.
5. Hair brush; borrowing the hair brush from your girlfriends may transfer lice or dandruff so it is best to be avoided.
6. Water proof mobile cover; since our cellphone is the most precious item we have nowadays, and our best friend, we need to pamper it, keep it safe 😉
7. Beach pillow; ideal for people suffering from back and neck pain and it keeps you comfortable while tanning for long hours.
8. Glasses cleaning cloth;on the beach sun glasses get sticky because of oil and sun screens. To keep it clean wipe it with the cloth or use the special spray for extra care.
9. Small fresh towel for the face; you don’t want to dry your face with your big beach towel that is often all covered in oil.
10. Sun screen; with UV rays becoming dangerous better not go to the beach without protection. Try to find sun screens of skin color or tinted and avoid white mask sunscreens making you look like a beach ghost.You can find it now in compact powder too.
11. Magazine/book; if you are going to the beach in a relaxing/tanning purpose, a good book or interesting magazine would be the perfect companion

Elie Saab
With Elie Saab I feel that I am escaping in the couture fantasy. the Collection is inspired by the American Painter Mark Rotkho known by his abstract expressionist pieces.
Elie Saab’s collection is very sophisticated, but very soft at the same time, the autumn season focuses on sleek and sexy shapes intertwined with the house’s signature femininity.
Giambattista Valli
When watching the runaway I felt so related to each & every piece of his work, I really couldn’t get enough!
Giambattista Valli, took on old Hollywood inspired dresses, the kind you would imagine Audrey Hepburn wearing. Flowers and light colors take us back to the 60’s fashion.
There were monkey-fur coats, floor-length capes over keyhole gowns and floral dresses sprouting three-dimensional blooms — and it all came with literal guides to the period in the form of turbans and goggle-eyed sunglasses.
He was able to keep it simple despite the weirdness of the combination.
Zuhair Murad
Zuhair Murad collection based on futuristic themes / geometric mosaics and prismatic waves/ topography of the female form in the dresses which makes the female body prettier and met en relief female form.
Chanel
Classic Chanel elegant coats with neatly seamed shoulders and neck-framing , and cocktail dresses with ornate mirrored frame; feathers and fringed tulle dripped like so much candle wax from hems; given a touch of the rococo with 24-karat embroidery.
As always with Mr. Lagerfield there were many combined ideas & skills as you can see in the white dress below.
Chritian Dior
Christian Dior ‘s line was a mix between 18th century style and modern couture,with side hoops and embroidered masculin collars., it resembles to the ones wore at the times of Louis XIV.
Christian Dior with the new designer Ralph Siemens replacing John Gialliano made Christian Dior travel through history.
N.B.: Hand Bags one of Christian Dior’s biggest industries were noticeable absent.
Versace
Donatella Versace injected bad girl attitude for atelier Versace with the black color present in all of the fall-winter show, but she is the queen of Excess & might be too much for some; this collection would be considered for eccentric women.
Marco Zanini
Marco Zanini collection was very daring and artistic, it was full of bold mixes such as a caramel silk shirt paired with pastel pink trousers tightened by a green belt; critics coded this collection more mature & harmonious than last year’s. The designer Marco Zanini paid tribute to Elsa Schiaparelli with this recent collection.
Maison Martin Margiela
Maison Martin Margiela couture took an artistic detour with a wild theme, mixing different patterns and styles.

5 Tips On How To Spend Your Money While Shopping
- When shopping think of “Investment”, most of us, and me included, often go shopping when bored, but usually end up with clothes that never leave the closet. Don’t buy a pair of jeans that are tight thinking that they will “loosen up” later on and then never wear them again, or a top that your friends liked but you weren’t comfortable in. Any item that you buy and not wear is a lost investment.
- Accessories: it’s no place for saving, the most common mistake is when people go for cheap accessories thinking that they are not as important as the clothes, however, quality accessories spice up the outfit and add glam. Make sure that your accessories are good quality so they don’t make your look tacky.
- Good basics are important, but with a specific budget, Don’t spend much money on basics like tees, since they wear out quickly; a trench coat and a pair of boots on the other hand, is something that will last. Spending time and money to find the perfect coat or the perfect blazer is worth it.
- Pick your designer items carefully!If you want to buy printed long/short dresses, tops, or shorts, there is no need to go for brands because they all look the same. If you’re going to have one designer item, make it your handbag or your shoes, a good handbag makes your whole outfit look better.
- Don’t be afraid of going all in on the shoes, bad shoes can strongly influence your image, as for cheap looking shoes can make your party dress look trashy. So wait for the sale if you have to, but buy the right shoes because no matter how expensive your dress is, cheap shoes will make it lose spark.
