Go for Geometric Print Pants

It’s officially April and slowly we are heading towards the summer. The days are getting longer and the nights are getting warmer. It’s time to spice up your wardrobe. A great way to do this is by incorporating a pair of geometric print pants.

There are thousands imageof different  imagestyles of print pants out there from cropped skinnies to wide legs, you can pick a silhouette that works best for your body type. After figuring out which shape works for you, it’s time to choose your pattern. 😍With options from diamonds to stripes to squares, decide on the pattern you want. If you are petitimagee, keep the pattern on a smaller scale to make sure they pattern doesn’t overwhelm you. Keeping the print balanced will be the most suiting.
If you choose a skinnier, tailored pant you can go one of two ways. You can keep the entire outfit fitted with a blazer and a top which would look super modern for work or pair the pants with a more flowing top to contrast the silhouette of the pants. The same idea goes with a more wide pant. If you wear a loose top, a flowing pant gives a more bohemian look for weekend or you can add a crop top and jacket and achieve a more sophisticated look.
Keep in mind that if you are wearing a bold geometric print pant that you let them be the statement piece of the outfit. Make sure the look isn’t overloaded with too many colors or prints, however matching a small print with a large print can look ultra chic if theimagey are kept in the same color palette.

The Perfect Eyeliner

Must-have Eyeliners

Spring is in the air & a flirty makeup is impossible without a cat-eye. Let me roll out my cosmetic bag for you & review my favorite eyeliners as not all eyeliners were born equal. I prefer my liner intense, long lasting, and perfect.

Tom Ford Eyimagee Definiimageng Penimageimage

Pro: easy to use & dries fast

imageCon: a bit pricey

Pen goes on very smoothly and the liquimageid is very consistent. Since I use eyeliner every day, this is the most long lasting eyeliner! There’s no smudging (even for oily skin!) and the product usually lasts around 6 months for me. The fine tip application is very easy to use, and you can build up to the line you desire. It’s very highly pigmented so a few strokes is enough to get a very strong line.

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner

imagePro: Dries quickly, easy application

Con: Too thick

Gel Liners are always great to achieve that perfect line, and are incredibly easy to correct if you make a mistake. So what more perfect gel is there than Bobbi Brown? It’s almost feels like liquid because the color is so highly pigmented. Thick liners like this one last really long so that’s always a plus. Extra tip: since the liner is so thick, use a thick brush to apply or it’ll take you a long time. Ideally, pick up Bobbi Brown eyeliner brush & don’t use gels if you have oily skin as it can melt the eyeliner and give you raccoon eyes.

L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Liner

Pro: Highly Pigmented

Con: Smudges

This eyeliner is great value for money if you are in a mood for a smokey eye! The product is highly pigmented, works best when paired with black eyeshadow for a very smokey effect. It could smudge a bit, but since I use it with a darker shadow it’s not a huge problem at all, and can give my eyes a romantic effect. For a more precise line, you can use the sharpener attached on the opposite side.

Benefit Push-up Liner

Pro: Dries fast, long lasting

Con: Can get flakey

If you are struggling with gel and liquid liners, this is a great alternative because it’s a gel liner in a marker! it’s super creamy and easy to use, but it can definitely clump and get flakey if you try to re-touch it. The rubber tip is perfect to work on your lash line without touching the lashes.

Hats 👒 are Back 😁

Hats are back & have made their way into everyone’s casual style. With many celebrities favoring fedoras or wide brim, Hat isdefinitely the “it” accessory of the Spring/Summer season👧.

I love Red Hats
I love Red Hats

I’m so excited for its return, but why did it disappear for so long?

👉According to the Wall Street Journal, “In the 1930s, ’40s, and parts of the ’50s, a man wasn’t considered fully dressed unless he had a hat on🎩. But by the 1960s, hat wearing fell off, partly as a result of longer hairstyles, cars with lower roofs and resistance from some World War II vets who didn’t want to wear things on their heads after wearing helmets for so long. John F. Kennedy’s habit of not wearing a hat was seen as the final blow for hat wearing”.

👉Thanks to celebrities, fashion designers & inspirational images of old Hollywood legends like Frank Sinatra & Audrey Hepburn the hat is back in fashion again👄.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with your style by adding new details such as Hat👒

I wore a gorgeous wide brim Chanel hat the other day & fell head over heels for this effortless chic detail 😍😍

On a rainy day ,,,, Do Homemade Mask !!

Even though it’s a 17c in Beirut, my skin still gets dry during in winter🌀❄️. So once in a while, I like to use this homemade mask to keep my skin soft & HYDRATED! Don’t forget to take notes so you can always use this mask on a rainy day like today.

Ingredients:
1 egg white
1/4 avocadoimage
1 tsp plain yogurt

Step 1
Take a ripe avocado for this mask as it’s easier to work with. Using a table spoon, scoop out the avocado. 1/4 of an avocado is enough for 1 person, but you can double the amount if you’re doing it with your mom or bestie.

Step 2
Using a spoon, blend the avocado until it becomes smootimageh & creamy.

Step 3

Separate the egg white from the yolk & add it to the mixture. Egg whites are high in protein and are not only great for nourishing your body but your skin as well.

Step 4
Plain yogurt is great for your skin. It has acids that can smooth and fight discoloration. Add a tablespoon to your avocado mask to not only profit from the benefits of yogurt but to give your mask a smoother texture.

Step 5
Mix everything well!

Voila!

I couldn’t resist Not Trying this new Chanel Hat !! Hats are the statement piece of the season ,,,,

Remaking this Bold look is simple, find the perfect Hat 🙂 keep it all bold black.

incorporate a color into the mix is essential by using only a single item with a pop of color such as the scarf I am wearing and keeping the rest all black , brown or navy ,,,,

Little Red Dress

Winter is already dreary and grey enough as it is ! As much as there is love for a classic all-black ensemble, adding bright pops of color will keep your spirit high during the season’s coldest months.
Since Red is the color of love and Valentine’s is only days away, for yesterday’s show I wore red,to balance such a bright hue I paired it with classic suede Louboutin

Fight Breast Cancer with color….

A pop of color isn’t just great for your closet, it’s a smart strategy for your plate too!!!!

Women who ate more carrots, spinach, pepper , and garlic have found to reduce their cancer risk by more than 20 percent. Salmon and berries should also be added to your plate at least twice a week.

Today’s topic may be far from fashion but it’s a sad reality that we are hearing about everyday. It’s reaching people we love and whom are close to us, therefore raising awareness became a must. Eat more healthy , exercise more, do you yearly checkup and these tiny changes will slash your cancer risk by half.

Everyday is Red….

Life is too short so put on your red Chanel (a Samoa lipstick will also do the job ;)) and start your day with a touch of glamor and power. Make red not only your date for clubs and weddings, but also your best friend for lunches, brunches and daily occasions.

When red lipstick was first launched it was worn for lunches and daily events and rarely ( I emphasize on rarely ) for dinners!

Take Time to choose your perfect red . Usually when you buy a red over the counter they always tend to give you the flashy famous red and it may not suit you. Choose a shade of red that suits not only your skin tone but also your hair color, your eyes and your overall outfit. Yes, red lipstick is not a black dress, you can go wrong with it and end up looking like a clown .Therefore, contour is not old fashion, use a red color one to mark your lips then apply your Matt lipstick.

My red lipstick for this season is dark red, I am currently using my Mac viva glam which is a moderate red shade, not very dark and not so bright that gives a perfect warm winter look.

The power of MONDAY…

A Monday resolution….
So who of us hasn’t heard these famous lines “I will start my diet on Monday” or ” I will sleep with my makeup on today and i will start taking care of my skin just after the weekend“.

Well yes , we all do push things just another day and usually to Monday, but don’t underestimate The Magical Power of Monday! Monday has always had a bad reputation, have you ever heard someone complaining about Friday for instance ? We all thank God it’s Friday and yes TGIF every week but if you want to initiate a change researchers have showed that Monday is the right day to start…..
It’s a fresh day, a new beginning and let’s face it, it makes goals more realistic when they are set on Monday; it’s not a list of New Years resolution that you will just forget about it around mid January. I really believe that if you can change a habit for a day means you can change it permanently . I am going to be launching a “Monday campaign” where I will be writing each week a #mondayresolution concerning all aspects of fashion, beauty tips and health to consider for the week…..
you can find the resolutions on the following Hashtags #ThankGoditsMonday #ThePowerofnow #ThePowerofMonday #mondaycampaign #startfresh #keepcalmandlovemonday #EveryMondaymatters #enjoythemondaymadness
